AMS Bingo

Join NAAM Bingo all month long!

This November (National Adoption Awareness Month), AMS is flipping the script with “Things We Wish People Would Say to Adoptees” — our take on NAAM Bingo that celebrates empathy, humor, and adoptee community.

Want to play? Here’s how to join in, get your card, and enter to win AMS merch!

HOW TO PLAY:

  1. Get your card: Download your personalized AMS Bingo card here. Each card is automatically generated and unique to you.

  2. Follow along: Throughout November, AMS will draw a new phrase each week. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok @adopteementorship to see which ones are called.

  3. Mark your squares: Each time AMS reveals a new phrase, check your card and mark it if you have that square.

  4. Show your progress: When you get Bingo (five in a row — across, down, or diagonal), take a screenshot and tag @adopteementorship using #AdopteeMentoringSociety, #NAAMBingo on TikTok or Instagram. You can also DM or email your completed card to info@adopteementorship.org.

  5. Enter to win: Each completed Bingo counts as an entry to win AMS merch. The winner will be announced during the final week of November.

  6. Join the conversation: This isn’t just a game — it’s a way for adoptees to share a collective eye-roll, find community, and bring a little humor to a month that usually celebrates everyone but us.

Mentor Coaching Session

Mentor Coaching Session

Our Mentor Training Program includes Mentor Coaching Sessions, a unique, simulation-type event where mentors and mentees come together for real conversations with real impact.

During each two-hour virtual session, AMS mentors practice their mentoring skills in live, guided conversations with volunteer mentees. These sessions offer a safe, supportive space for mentors to grow through feedback, reflection, and authentic connection—while mentees gain a firsthand look at adoptee-centered mentorship in action.

Volunteer mentees play a vital role in shaping how our mentors learn to listen, respond, and hold space for others in our community. No preparation or prior experience is needed—just a willingness to show up and share from your lived experience as an adoptee.

Do you want to volunteer as a mentee?

🪞 Who can participate: Adopted people, ages 12+
🕒 Commitment: One two-hour virtual session
💛 Perks: A free Adoptee Lounge pass and the chance to strengthen adoptee-centered mentorship

You can learn more about how the full process works here.
